Kevin A. Jones

Kevin Jones devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing individuals and small businesses in disputes arising out of the employment relationship. In particular, Kevin focuses his employment law practice on claims for employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and breach of employment contract (including non-compete and non-solicitation agreements).

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a finance concentration, from Truman State University. He attended law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he received various awards for academic excellence and was published in both of the law school's legal journals, the UMKC Law Review and The Urban Lawyer. During law school, Kevin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert M. Schieber, 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, and the Jackson County Counselor's Office. Kevin also worked for another local law firm with a civil litigation practice before finally joining The Meyers Law Firm during his last year of law school.

Kevin is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Missouri and Kansas, the United States District Court of Western Missouri, the United States District Court of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Kevin is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
